Sushil Koirala visits Gandhi’s Memorial at Rajghat
KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala who is currently on an official visit to India this morning visited Rajghat, memorial of Mahatma Gandhi based in New Delhi and paid heartfelt tribute to the late leader.
On the occasion, he was accompanied by party general secretaries Prakashman Singh and Krishna Prasad Sitaula and his personal secretary Laxman Dhakal.
President Koirala is scheduled to meet Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, Secretary of External Affairs Sujata Singh and National Security Advisor Shiv Shankar Menon today.
He will join banquet with Congress I foreign department chief Karan Singh, Dhakal said. He is on a six-day official visit to the southern neighbour at the invitation of the Government of India.
