Banda affects life in eastern districts

KATHMANDU: Normal life in the eastern districts has been crippled due to a general strike enforced by the Federal Republican National Front from early morning today.

All the vehicles have remained off the road and while factories and markets are also closed. Schools and colleges in the district are also closed due to the banda. The front has enforced the shutdown to press for the fulfillment of their 16 points demands.
