Damak motorcycle mishap injures four



DAMAK: Four people were injured when two motorbikes collided with each other at Sitapuri road section along the East-West highway on Wednesday night.

The accident took place while one of the motorcyclists tried to save an animal crossing the road, said the police.

Those injured in the accident are Pema Tamang of Dharampur-8 and his sons Sangden Tamang (10) and Sange Tamang (8).

They were riding the motorbike (Me 5 Pa 4938).

Likewise, Raja Khatiwada of Morang, Dulari, who was riding the bike (Ko.7 Pa 9942) was injured in the mishap, said police.

Critically injured in the mishap, Sange Tamang and Raja Khatiwada were sent to Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar and others are being treated at Lifeline Hospital, said DSP Rajan Adhikari at the Damak Area Police.
