Indian Ambassador Prasad returns home
KATHMANDU: Indian ambassador Jayant Prasad returned home on Monday after concluding a two-year tenure at the Kathmandu based embassy.
Prasad will be succeeded by Ranjit Rayee. Rayee has been lauded for his important role in the signing of the 12 point Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) between the then Maoist rebels and Nepal’s parliamentary parties in New Delhi.
The embassy has informed that he will taking over responsibilities at the embassy from next week.
