Bullion prices soar up higher on Wednesday



KATHMANDU: Gold price hit its all-time high of Rs 63,300 per tola (11.664 grams) on Wednesday, with a jump of Rs 3,400 per tola.

The steep rise in prizes comaes on the threshold of festive season and shortage of the most after metal in local market.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations (NEGOSIDA), bullion price hit new record as the strong dollar aided the increasing bullion prices in the international market.

In the international bullion market, gold is being traded at USD 1416.6 per troy ounce today.

Earlier on Tuesday, the gold price had reached Rs 59,900 per tola with the increment of by Rs 1,000 per tola in the domestic market.

Likewise, silver price also increased by Rs 64 and reached Rs 11,14 per tola today.
