7 injured in Chitwan road mishap

RATNANAGAR: As many as seven people were injured in a collision between a microbus and a truck at Kurintar in Chitwan district on Thursday morning.

The accident took place when a microbus (Ga.1 Kha. 2460) heading to Kathmandu from Gorkha and a truck (Na. 4 Kha. 9710) heading to Chitwan from Kathmandu collided with each other at Kurintar this morning.

Out of the seven injured, critically injured two were rushed to the Bharatpur Hospital for further treatment while the rest are being treated at local clinics, said the Kurintar Area Police Office.

Police have arrested drivers of both vehicles who were found driving after drinking alcohol and started investigation in this connection.
