Jeep hits motorcyclist to death in Hetaunda

HETAUDA: A motorcyclist died when his motorcycle collided head-on with a Sumo jeep near Deurali on the Hetauda-Kulekhani road section on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Guman Singh Tamang of Manahara VDC-9, Bara district, police said.

The jeep (Na 1 Ja 3815) was coming towards Hetauda from Kathmandu and the motorcycle (Na 17 Pa 9591) was heading towards Kathmandu from Hetauda at the time of the accident. The accident took place at 12:15 p.m.

The jeep driver has been arrested for interrogation.
