Surkhet police detains youth for injecting syringes to school kids

SURKHET: Police have arrested Lalit BK of Birendra Nagar Municipality-10 for allegedly injecting school children in an unauthorised manner.

BK was injecting school children belonging to municipality ward no. 9, 10 and 11 on the way when they go to school and return home.

Police arrested BK, who was at large for long, from Birendra Nagar Bazaar.

Police have started investigation into the incident, said Inspector Laxman Shahi at the District Police Office.

The parents of the children had registered complaint to the police office about this case.

Whereas, the arrested BK has said that he used syringe among the children to create fear so that they would not be involved in wicked activities.

Police is supposed to file a case against him under the Public Offense Act, police informed.
