Traffic along Beni-Darbang road section resumes
MYAGDI: Direct transport services along the Beni-Darbang road section of Myagdi district has been resumed from Thursday.
The road section, linking people of more than 15 VDCs of the district to road network, was obstructed after the landslides occurred at Lampata in Babiyachour VDC-5 in the third week of June.
Chairman of the Beni-Darbang Road Maintenance Users’ Committee, Mim Siuthani, said that the service has been resumed along the 26-kilometer road section from today after a temporary track was opened at the place of landslide.
The District Development Committee, Myagdi, provided Rs. 300,000 for the road maintenance, it is learnt.
People of the western belt of the district had faced different problems including supply of consumer goods and for going to the district headquarters, among others.
