25 injured as passanger bus collides with truck in Chitwan

RATNANAGAR: As many as 28 people were injured in a road accident at Panch Kilo along the Narayangadh-Mugling road section in Chitwan district this morning.

The accident took place when a bus (Lu. 1 Kha 6551) heading towards Kathmandu from Narayangadh hit a truck (Na. 4 Kha 8254) heading towards Mugling from Narayangadh, said the District Police Office, Chitwan.

The injured are being treated in College of Medical Sciences, Chitwan, it is learnt. Out of the 28 injured, two are in critical state.

The cause behind the accident is reported as high speed.
