Dead woman found near Siraha police headquarters

SIRAHA: A body of a woman was found on Monday morning in a paddy field near the District Police Office, Siraha. The body of a woman of nearly 35 years of age was found in the paddy field along the Chauharwa-Siraha road section. The site where the body was found lies 200 meters in distance from the DPO.

The woman who seems to be from the Madhesi community has injuries in the head and her identity is yet to be ascertained, Siraha Superintendent of Police Purna Chandra Joshi said.

The body has been taken to the District Hospital Siraha for post-mortem and police are investigating the case.

This is the third case of finding a dead body of women in the district in a week, it is learnt.
