Police arrests MJF-Nepal treasurer Yadav

Saptari: Clashes have ensued between the police and the cadres of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF)-Nepal at Saptari district headquarters, following the police attempt to take a motorcycle of MJF-Nepal cadres for violating traffic rules.
Police arrested three persons including central treasurer of MJF-Nepal and candidate of Saptari Constituency No. 4, Renu Kumari Yadav. MJF-N District Secretary, Umesh Prasad Yadav and proportional candidate, Kedar Yadav, were also arrested and all the arrestees are detained at the District Police Office, Saptari.
Tension has arisen in front of the police office due to demonstrations of the MJF-Nepal cadres and a large number of security personnel have been mobilized to curb any untoward incident.
