Dahal’s vehicle torched at New Baneshwor

Kathmandu: Unidentified miscreants set ablaze a vehicle of the UCPN (Maoist) at New Baneshwor Kathmandu tonight. The arsonists set the vehicle of UCPN (Maoist) into the fire that was used for the election campaigning. It is learnt that the UCPN (Maoist) supremo Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s daughter and candidate for Kathmandu constituency No 1 Renu Dahal also used to ride on that vehicle.
Likewise, a bomb has been recovered at Sallaghari Bhaktapur this afternoon. Bomb Disposal Team of Nepal Army has defused the bomb found nearby Late Birendra’s statute in Sallaghari. A pressure cooker bomb was detonated at the side inside a sack with ‘danger’ written on it.
