Prez Yadav seeks peoples’ contribution for nation and nationality
Kathmandu: President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has urged one and all to be conscious in the November 19 Constituent Assembly election and to contribute to the nation and nationality from their respective quarters.
The Head of State made this call today in his message of best wishes given on the auspicious occasion of the Deepawali and Tihar, the second largest festivals of Nepalese today.
“The festivals of Deepawali and Tihar which are celebrated as special festivals of light that bring light by removing darkness would bring economic prosperity to Nepalis and promote brotherhood, social amity and unity,” stated President Dr Yadav.
Similarly, Vice President Paramananda Jha, in a message of best wishes on the occasion, expressed the belief that the country would get a democratic constitution as per the people’s aspirations from the second election of the constituent assembly.
Similarly, in a message of best wishes on the occasion of Deepawali, Chairman of the Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi has called on all Nepali brothers and sisters to make the forthcoming Constituent Assembly election successful by making use of their constitutionally provided right- the right to vote. Chairman Regmi has said that conducting the Constituent Assembly election slated for November 19 has become our only objective for that purpose, he added.
