Bomb explosion at UML’s election gathering in Taplejung, Five injured



Taplejung: A bomb has exploded at the election gathering of the CPN (UML) in Khokling of Taplejung today.
Five persons have been injured when one among two grenade bombs went off, hurled by a group of unidentified persons, according to the police.
Those injured are Renuka Adhikari, Tulasa Karki, Man Bahadur BK,Yagya BK a 8-year child Padam Magar.  The treatment of the injured is underway at the district hospital.
Police has said that it has intensified the manhunt to nab the attackers.
The UML has organised the election campaigns at the school violatings the election Code of Conduct. According to the election Code of Conduct, political parties and their candidates are not allowed to hold any programmes at the school.
A bomb disposal squad of Nepal Army has defused another grenade bomb. The programme has resumed after the police has cordoned off the venue.
