Former NAST VC Bajracharya passes away

Kathmandu: Former Vice-chancellor of Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) Prof. Dr Dayanand Bajracharya passed away on Monday. He was 68.
Born in 2002 B.S. at Marutole of Kathmandu, Bajracharya had served as the Vice-chancellor of the NAST for eight years.
A Phd. holder from the Freeburg University of Germany, Bajracharya is also the former Dean of Tribhuvan University. He was regarded as an efficient scientist of the country.
His last rites were performed at Shobha Bhagwati today. He is survived by his wife, one son and a daughter.
