Immediate compensation provided for torched bus

Bhaktapur: District Administration Office (DAO) Bhaktapur has provided compensation for a vehicle which was set ablaze by an unidentified group in course of the Nepal banda called by the 33-party alliance led by CPN-Maoist in the wee hours of Monday.
A bus (Na. 3 Kha. 3711) belonging to the Araniko Yatayat was set on fire by spraying petrol while it was parked at Thimi Municipality-11 at 3.30 am. The bus was completely destroyed by fire.
Chief District Officer Himnath Dawadi provided Rs. 25,000 to Yatayat committee Chairman Jeet Bahadur Bharati as an immediate compensation for the loss. According to CDO Dawadi, the Home Ministry has been urged for allocating additional compensation to the loss.
