Nepal Telecom offers new scheme for students
Kathmandu, May 14: Nepal Telecom has decided to provide 100MB data free of cost to students subscribing to the company’s GSM or CDMA mobile phone service under a scheme launched for those appearing in the SLC exam this year.
The company on Tuesday said that students who have already bought a SIM or RUIM card under the scheme would start getting the free data from Wednesday. Similarly,those students who buy the service within mid-June will be able to avail the free 100MB data packages having no validity period for using it.
It has said that the SIM or RUIM costs Rs 100 and talk time worth Rs 100 is also provided to the subscriber, according to NT.
