Lama moves to the Supreme Court by seeking his reinstatement

Kathamandu, May 18. Yubaraj Lama and five others have moved the Supreme Court seeking their reinstatement. The Ministry of Youth and Sports on Friday had removed NSC Member Secretary Lama and five NSC members from their responsibilities on Friday.

In a writ filed at the apex court, Lama and other five members have claimed that they were appointed in the NSC for four years, and their term would end on June 9, 2015 only.

Lama  and his colleagues  had appointed in the National Sport Council on June 10, 2011 under the government led by the UCPN-Maoist.
