UML leader Nepal discharged
Kathmandu, May 21. Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, who was admitted at the Bir Hospital following health problems last week, has been discharged today.
Nepal was admitted at the hospital on May 15 due to high fever. According to doctors, Nepal’s oxygen level and pressure both had gone low.
Nepal was earlier kept at the VIP unit of the Hospital for treatment. However, after the doctors attending him discovered a huge patch of pneumonia on his chest during the X-Ray, he was shifted to the ICU. But after that leader Nepal was later shifted back to the VIP unit.
In the time of his discharge from the hospital, Nepal also donated Rs 5,000 to one Menuka Thapa of Okhaldhunga who has been undergoing treatment at the hospital’s ICU ward for the past 144 days.
