2 dozens injured in clash in Siraha

Siraha, June 07. Two dozen locals have been injured after a clash come on the tension as per the riots between the locals and police personnel in Mirchaiya of Siraha on Saturday.

It has been told that the clash ensued over an month-old issue of elopement. On May 12, Dimpal Kumari Singh of Maheshpuri, Gamahariya reportedly eloped with Mohit Mandal of Parsahi, Itari.

The family of Singh had lodged an FIR at the Mirchiya Police Post following the incident.

The kith and kin of Singh today obstructed the East-West road section citing that the police administration has not been able to search their daughter.

Police fired 10 rounds of tear gas shells to disperse the mob.
