Leaders discuss working unity among Maoist parties
Kathmandu, June 15. Senior leaders of UCPN-Maoist and leaders of four fringe Maoist parties discussed possibility of forming a working unity, at the CPN-Maoist party headquarters in Buddhanagar of the Capital today.
The meeting discussed a range of issues to establish an alliance to work together, said CPN-Maoist General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa.
They pointed out the need of working together as the ruling parties are neglecting the past agreements signed between the government and major political parties and Maoist parties in the past.
UCPN-Maoist Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN-Maoist Chair Mohan Baidhya, CPN (Maoist) Coordinator Matrika Yadav, Revolutionary Communist Party General Secretary Mani Thapa among others participated in the meeting.
The next meeting is scheduled to be held on June 21 for further discussion on the issue, sources said.
