NC discusses govt. new policies & programmes



Kathmandu, June 30. A day after the government’s policies and programmes brought, the joint meeting of Nepali Congress ( NC ) Central Committee and Parliament Party were discussed at  here in the Capital on Monday.

At the meeting, majority of the central members and CA members commented on the policies and programmes that was presented by the government on Sunday and gave their respective feedback on the same, according to NC spokesperson Dilendra Prasad Badu.

On the occasion, some of the speakers expressed concerns over the failure of the policies and programmes to include nationally prioritised projects related to energy, and suggested that the government should pay due attention towards that end.

Demanding balanced appropriation of budget to every district and village, they also suggested the government to introduce the budget by sharing informaton about the bigger projects to the investors.

The meeting chaired by officiating party President Ram Chandra Poudel wished for speedy recovery of NC President and Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, who is undergoing treatment in the USA. The latest health update of the NC president was shared at the meeting.

According to spokesperson Badu, Poudel had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Koirala this morning. Doctors attending upon the Prime Minister also said that the radiotherapy treatment would continue until July 7, and that he could return home after two day’s of rest.
