Four killed, seven injured in Makawanpur jeep fall

HETUADA, Jan 16 : At least four people have died on the spot, seven others including drivers have been injured after a jeep carrying them met with an accident along Hetauda-Kulekhani road section of Makawanpur district on Friday.

The jeep, Na 1 Ja 4275, heading towards Hetauda from Kathmandu fell some 125 meters down the road at Jurekhet.

According to police, among the injured two people are in a critical condition. One person has been identified as Dambar Raut, Hasanpur VDC -5, Kailali. The identity of three others is yet to be ascertained, Said DSP Deepak Thapa.
