UCPN-Maoist’s statement is irresponsible: DPM Singh

Syangja, Feb 15. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Local Development Prakash Man Singh said that the Unified Maoist’s statement on drafting constitution from the street was irresponsible.

Talking to the Nepali Congress Party cadres at party office in the district this morning, DPM Singh added the party was one of the partners of the peace process and constitution was one of the integral part of the peace process.

Minister Singh has said that the dualistic approach of the UCPN-Maoist hindered the constitution drafting process as the party participated in constitution assembly election and formation of its regulations but surprisingly obstructed the constitution drafting process.
