lightning in Makawanpur kills 2‚ injures 3

Hetaunda: Two persons were killed in Makawanpur district by lightning on Thursday afternoon.

Yuvaraj Ghising (13) form Manthali-4 and Suryalal Praja (31) form Rakrirang-8 of district died after there were struck by lightning this afternoon.

Praja breathed last while being rushed to Manahari Health Post whereas Ghising died on the spot, police said.

Dev Pakhrin, Raj Kumar Goley and Dudhlal Goley were injured after the bolt, a local Som Timalsina said.
The injured were students of local Shankar Lower secondary School in Manthali-3.

They are undergoing treatment at Aashrang Health Post in Aashrang of Lalitpur.
