Sky to remain cloudy till Tuesday
Kathmandu, March 1: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said that effects of the westerly winds have led to adverse weather condition across the country today.
Effects of the western disturbance are likely to deteriorate weather till Tuesday and the weather will improve after that, it said.
The influence of the eastward-moving westerly has invited a generally cloudy condition with rainfall and thundershower in the Capital and many places of western region including Dadeldhura, Dipayal, Dhangadhi, Surkhet, Nepalgunj, Jumla, Dang and Bhairahawa, according to meteorologist at the Division Shanti Kandel.
Brief rain or thundershowers will continue at many places of the central and western regions and at some places of the eastern region today with possibility of heavy snowfall at a few places of the high mountainous region, according to the Division.
The division added that the weather will remain mostly cloudy throughout the country tonight with brief rain or thundershowers likely in many places.
