Three held for gang-raping in Sankhuwasabha

SANKHUWASABHA, MAR 17: Police on Monday arrested three persons on the charge of gang-raping an 11-year-old girl here in the district.

Prem Limbu, 18, Dhan Bahadur Gurung, 18, and Nageshwar Limbu, 14, from Chainpur were held on rape charge, said police.

The suspects allegedly gang-raped the victim while she was returning home after attending a wedding ceremony in the village last week.

The accused were on the run after the incident, said police.
