1 killed‚ 2 injured in car-bike collision in Jhapa
JHAPA, March 22: A person died while two others sustained serious injuries in a road accident occurred at Duwagadhi-4 of the district on Saturday night.
Police said that the incident occurred when a car (Lu 1 Cha 2823) heading toward west collided with a motorcycle (Me 5 Pa 8869) coming from the opposite direction.Biker Pahalman Karki (45) from Birtamod Municipality died while being treated at the Om Sai Hospital on Sunday morning.
According to the police, pillion rider Nisha Devkota (24) and Anita Niraula from the same locality sustained serious injuries in the accident.
Both the injured have been receiving treatment at the Kankai Hospital, Birtamod.
