FNCCI delegation meets PM

KATHMANDU, Apr 7: Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has urged the private sector to best utilise the current time, which is favourable for economic and social development. He said so during a meeting with a delegation of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) today.

A delegation led by FNCCI Acting President Pashupati Murarka met Koirala today and discussed country’s economic condition, the problems facing FNCCI, and need to create a conducive environment for economic development.

Koirala underlined the need of giving continuity to ‘peace, stability and development’ being witnessed at present.

In the meeting, the FNCCI delegation expressed hope that if all political parties realised the need for peace, stability and progress, the country’s development would gather further momentum in days to come.

Besides the existing executive members, FNCCI’s former presidents — Chandi Raj Dhakal, Binod Bahadur Shrestha and Kush Kumar Joshi — were also part of the delegation.
