Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge launched



KATHMANDU, APR 17: Samsung Electronics today launched Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in Nepal.

Addressing the launch programme, Pranaya Ratna Sthapit, head of HHP Division, Samsung Nepal said extra focus has been given to the battery, glass and camera of the new phones.

“Both devices have built-in battery and have a feature of wireless charging,” he added.

Galaxy S6 has been priced at Rs 77,900, while Galaxy S6 Edge costs Rs 94,900. Representatives of Samsung Electronics said that sales of both Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are expected to grow by four folds compared to global sales of S5.

The 16MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, facility of setting unique colour identity for friends and families are some of the features of the phones.

Samsung Nepal said that the new products are expected to transform smartphone market in the country, as they offer superlative experience, far ahead of other devices in market.

Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will be available in market with 32GB storage in white, black, and gold colours.

Sthapit said that green (Galaxy S6 Edge only) and blue (Galaxy S6) will be available later.

The phones were launched in 10 main international markets on April 10.
