Two teens drown in Babai

DANG, APR 18: Two teenage boys drowned in the Babai River on Saturday. Majit Gautam (16) from Khalanga in Rukum and Bharat Chand (18) from Salyan district drowned while swimming in the river, according to the Area Police Office, Tulsipur, Dang.

Deceased Gautam and Chand were students of Gyanjyoti College and Dang Valley College respectively in the locality. Similarly, a 12-year-old boy from Lalmati-4 in Dang, has gone missing in the river.

Kamal Paudel, who was swimming in the Babai River, has gone missing since Friday afternoon, police said. Locals and police are searching for the missing boy.
