Murder suspect held
KATHMANDU, APR 20: A man who was absconding after allegedly murdering a teenager in Chabahil of the Capital around five months ago was arrested by police.
A team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Crime Department nabbed Bhesh Bahadur Pandey aka Rajendra (29) of Thori-7, Parsa from Dolalghat of Kavre yesterday, police said.
Pandey had injured one Aayush Gorkhali (19) from Gangahiti, Chabahil, KMC-7, with wooden planks and stones in front of Gangahiti-based Survey Office on December 3 last year. He had succumbed to injuries on his head during treatment at the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, on December 19.
Meanwhile, Pandey has been handed over to Metropolitan Police Circle, Gaushala, on Sunday for further investigation and action.
