Pedestrian killed in road accident in Siraha

Siraha, June 12: A pedestrian died after being hit by a tipper on the East-West Highway in Golbazaar municipality of Siraha this morning.

The deceased of around 60 years old is yet to be identified, police inspector Santosh Niroula said. The tipper (Na.3Kha. 9144) was on its way towards the east when it hit the man. The man died on the way to hospital.

The tipper has been impounded while the driver has been taken into custody for necessary action, police said. RSS
