RPP-Nepal condemns violence activities in agitation in Tarai
Kathmandu, Sept 13: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP)-Nepal has condemned the violent activities carried out in course of the agitation in Tarai over the issue of delineation of federal units.
Today’s central committee meeting of the party also expressed concern over the force used by the State at some places.
The meeting decided to register its different opinion in the Constituent Assembly (CA) with commitment to constitutional monarchy and Hindu nation, said party’s Assistant General Secretary, Rajaram Shrestha. The meeting also decided to call party’s central council meeting by the end of November.
Expressing solidarity with the ongoing hunger strike at Open Theater demanding Hindu nation, the meeting demanded the state to respond to their demand and save the lives of the strikers. The meeting formed a committee under the coordination of party Treasurer, Uddav Poudel, to collect financial support for the treatment of General Secretary, Chandra Bahadur Gurung, who is now in the US for treatment.
