Daily papers closed in Morang
Pathari (Morang), Sept. 30: Publishers and editors of all daily newspapers being published in Biratnagar have decided to close the publication of newspapers citing lack of printing papers due to undeclared blockade to Nepal from India.
A meeting of the publishers and editors held Tuesday has decided to close the newspaper publication from Wednesday, according to the Chairman of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Morang chapter Mahendra Bista. The daily newspapers being published in Biratnagar include Udhghosh, Ujjyalo, Jana Bidroha, Darshan, Biratpath and New Srishti.
The meeting also concluded that distribution of the newspapers out of Biratnagar was not possible in the present context in the region though the job was continued despite economic and physical losses. RSS
