Three major parties should move ahead together for implementation of constitution: Khadka



Nepalgunj, Dec 17: Nepali Congress leader Purna Bahadur Khadka has said that the three major political parties should move ahead together for implementation of the new constitution. 

At a news conference organised by Banke chapter of the Press Union here today, leader Khadka said that the new constitution has given equal rights to all Nepali. 

He further said that leaders of the Madhes-based political parties have misinterpreted the new constitution, so there was no alternative to move together by three major political parties to make it clear in this regard. 

Imposing border blockade by India was not the behaviour of neighbour, leader Khadka said that there should not be compromise with anybody on the issue of nationality and integrity. 

He said that agitating parties have been trying to fulfill their personal intension by keeping the people in illusion and clarified that it would not be fulfilled at any cost, which was against nation’s welfare. 

Responding to a query, the NC leader said, “The existing 60/40 power sharing inside my party will be ended before the 13th general convention and the party will be made people-oriented.” RSS
