Fire guts property worth Rs 1.1 million

Lahan, Dec 24: Property worth Rs 1.1 million was gutted by fire at Sitapur VDC in Siraha district Wednesday night.

The fire started from the cowshed of Rambilas Ram of Sitapur-4 destroyed seven houses, said police.

Three houses belonging to Rambilas Ram, two houses of Rambali Ram and one house of Fekan Ram and Lakhan Ram each turned to ashes in the incident. Property worth Rs 1.1 million was gutted after the fire destroyed food grains, utensils and cash.
