Cabinet decides to extend term of three colonels

Kathmandu, Dec 24: The meeting of the Council of Ministers today has decided to extend the term of three colonels. The meeting decided to extend the term of Colonels Dilip Bahadur Bista, Deepak Ghale and Tara Dhwaj Pandey, said Minister for Information and Communications Technology Sherdhan Rai.

The meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singh Durbar decided to accept assistance of Rs 2.57 billion from the European Union for the Nutritious Food Programme.

Similarly, the meeting has also decided to assign the responsibility of the Child Welfare Officer to the District Women Officer.

Minister Rai who is also the spokesperson of the government informed that though the meeting discussed to split some Ministries and extension of cabinet, it could not be materialized. RSS
