Social workers provide land to AFP, Nepal



Jhapa, Dec. 26: Two social workers in Jhapa have provided land plots worth Rs 7.5 million to the Sanishchare-based base camp of the Armed Police Force (APF), Nepal.

Bhagirath Lunitel and Prithvi Budhathoki of Shaniarjun Municipality provided the land for free for the APF building construction in the area, Superintendent of APF, Nepal Shankar Pokharel said.

At a programme organised here on Friday, chairman of Sanishchare Market Management Committee Kumar Bhattarai, UML leader Hari Rana, central committee member of Nepal Tarun Dal Madan Budhathoki and others praised the contribution made by land donors Luintel and Budhathoki and termed their step an exemplary one.

The speakers also appealed to others to extend support for the APF building construction. RSS
