School at Laprak closed due to cold

Gorkha, Dec 26: Manikamdevi Secondary School based in Gupsipakha of Laprak, Gorkha was closed due to cold. The school decided to close the teaching learning activities for the next 90 days following to an increasing cold, said teacher Dhan Bahadur Gurung. The school was running classes in temporary huts after the April 25 earthquake. Laprak was the epicenter of the April quake. There are around 250 students in the school and most of them have been affected by cold-related health problems, Gurung said.
