Child protection revolving fund set up
Chautara, Jan 1: The child protection revolving fund has been set up in two municipalities and all VDCs of Sindupalchowk district in a bid to provide educational scholarship for the orphan children.
The task that began from three VDCs in 2011 has been completed by 2015 ahead of the 2017 target with the active involvement of all sides.
An arrangement has been made to provide scholarship worth Rs 300 per month to the children having no father or mother. The interest received from the fund will be used to support such children for their education up to 10th grade. So far 710 children including 369 boys and 351 girls received the scholarship support from the fund.
