RSS journo to be honoured with Dhanmaya Memorial Prize
Jhapa, Jan 2: The Jhapa-based Jayandra Prasain Literary Service Trust has decided to prize Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) reporter Chadrakala Bhandari with this year’s Dhanmaya Memorial Active Women Journalism Prize.
A meeting of the prize selection committee held on Friday picked Bhandari for the prize.Likewise, the Trust decided to honour litterateur Tejraj Khatiwada of Dhulabari with this year’s Dirghasahitya Sewi Samman, coordinator of the committee Lokraj Dhakal said.
Both the prizes carry separate purses of Rs 11,111 each. The prizes would be handed over to the winners by organising a programme in the district next month, it is said. RSS
