IGP Aryal in Jumla
Jumla, Jan 2: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Upendra Kant Aryal has said that the services of the state should be friendly to the Karnali region. Aryal has arrived in Jumla to take stock of the security situation of the region.
On Friday, IGP visited the zonal and district offices of Nepal Police in Jumla.
On the occasion, Aryal said that the central team of the specialists has taken responsibility to probe into the incident of fire that occurred on December 18 in Karnali Academy of Health Sciences.
During his visits to the offices, leaders of different political parties, local residents, Director of Karnali Academy of Health Sciences Suryaman Limbu and others put forth their opinions.
In response to the concerns of the stakeholders, IGP Aryal promised to increase the number of security officials to make the security situation more effective in the region.
