Treason case filed against three cadres of CK Raut
Lahan, Jan 4: The Siraha Police has filed a case of treason at the Special Court against three cadres of Dr CK Raut-led Free Madhes Alliance.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Shyam Gyawali has said that the case was forwarded at the Court against Chandreshwor Mahato, 40, of Bishnupurkatti, Bishnudev Chaudhary of Lahan Municipality-8 and Sudipraj Kushawaha of Lahan Municipality-13 on the charge of being involved in anti-national activities. They were arrested in Lahan Municipality of the district on Saturday.
Meanwhile, a woman, who was absconding for 23 years after the Siraha District Court slapped one year jail term in 1992, was arrested on Sunday.
A team of police personnel led by Police Inspector Santosh Niraula arrested Kumari Devi Ram (Chamar) of Golbazar Municipality-1 from her own residence. Police said that Ram would be presented before the court for necessary actions.
