President, PM congratulate Myanmar
Kathmandu, Jan 4: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has extended cordial felicitations and best wishes to the President of Myanmar, Thein Sein, on the happy occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
President Bhandari also wished her Myanmar counterpart for personal health and happiness and for the progress and prosperity of the people of Myanmar.
Similarly, on the same occasion, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli congratulated Myanmar President Thein Sein, and wished him good health and happiness as well as progress and prosperity of the people of Myanmar.
PM Oli expressed his confidence that the friendly relations existing between the two countries would grow further in the years ahead.
