10 injured in road mishap in Dhanusha
Mahendranagar (Dhanusha), Jan 6: Ten people were injured in a road accident at Charnath bridge of Ganeshman Charnath Municipality in Dhanusha district today.
According to the District Police Office, Dhanusha, the accident took place when a truck (Na 1 Kha 3203) heading towards west from east and a bus (Na 5 Kha 7181) coming from the opposite direction collided with each other.
Critically injured Laxmi Bhandari, 45, of Dharan Municipality-8; Prajjwol Poudel, 4, of Mahendranagar-9 in Sunsari, and bus driver Sagar Limbu of Prakashpur-5 in Sunsari have been taken to Biratnagar and Bal Krishna Poudel, 65, of Mahendranagar-9 in Sunsari, to Dharan for further treatment.
Similarly, those, who sustained minor injuries in the accident, are receiving medical treatment at Phool Kumari Mahato Memorial Hospital, Karjanha, in Siraha and Lalgadh Model Hospital in Dhanusha.
One killed in accident
Meanwhile, in Siraha, a person who was injured in a tractor accident at Bastipur in the district on Tuesday night died this morning while undergoing treatment at Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital.
The deceased is Umesh Bishwokarma, 34, of Lahan Municipality-12.
The tractor (Sa 1 Ta 4342) heading towards north from south met with an accident after the driver lost control of it.
