Leader Deuba’s appeal for cooperation



Kathmandu, Jan 6: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba has appealed to fellow leaders and cadres for support in the upcoming NC’s 13th general convention.

Leader Deuba, also former Prime Minister, is vying for the post of party President to be elected through the impending convention.

At a programme organized by his Party here today, Deuba pledged that he will lead the Party with enthusiasm and in the spirit of proportional inclusiveness.
Stating that the NC is the only party in the country firmly believing in democracy, he further committed that he will make effort towards strengthening democracy and the Party.

“Time has come to burnish the image of the Nepali Congress as a party that troubleshoots the issues and challenges facing the country’s development and in the implementation of the newly promulgated constitution,” said leader Deuba.

Present at the programme were NC General-Secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula, Chief Whip of NC Chinkaji Shrestha, Central committee member Narahari Acharya, Dr Minendra Rija and Nabindraraj Joshi among others NC leaders.
