Death toll in Dang accident touches seven
Dang, Jan 6: The death toll in the road accident that took place at Saudikula on the Tulasipur-Ghorahi road section this morning has reached seven.
The number of casualties reached seven after two women, who were critically injured in the accident, succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at the Kohalpur Medical College, Bank, police said.
The accident took place when the school bus (Ra 1 Ka 191) heading towards Tulasipur from Ghorahi and the micro-bus (Ra 1 Ja 372) coming from opposite direction collided with each other at Saurikula along the Ghorahi-Tulasipur road section.
The deceased are Kimani Khadka of Ranagaon, Tulasipur-1 and Bushnu Bista, 24, of Kavra VDC-6, Salyan. Police said the accident occurred due to over speed and dense fog.
