Agriculture sector should be made dignified: Minister Gajurel

Lalitpur, Jan 7: Minister for Agriculture Development Haribol Gajurel has opined for making agriculture sector dignified.

Addressing the 8th annual general assembly (AGM) of the Nepal Agriculture Cooperatives Central Federation here today, Minister Gajurel stressed on increasing the investment in the agriculture sector.

He further emphasised on making economic sector independent by modernizing the agriculture sector. The agriculture sector should be prioritized and advanced seeds and equipments should be provided to the farmers, Minister added.

Lawmaker, Pashupati Chaulagain said that the national economy could be made independent by exporting the agricultural products.
